The dla is being reviewed

I did have it for life
Then one letter came to say 'indefinitely'

Now apparently they are just seeing to reviewing all those on it
Then I got the letter yesterday from the dla people
Basically saying my 'claim' has been delayed by a time as they are seeking a gp report

I know my gps well it there is always a slight niggle they might not put things clearly enough
I haven't made a 'claim'

I'm on the dla allowance I'm entitled to!

It makes me stressed and cross when I don't need this!

Hi Jenni, i sympathise with you. The benefits people are doing my head in at the moment, see post to Rich about ESA. They think they can give disabled people all this stress and hassle and it won't affect us!

Dear Jenni,

I received a letter yesterday saying that my D.L.A and benefits are to be reviewed.

I couldn't believe how stressed this made me feel!

The huge difference that finally getting D.L.A has made to my life over the last few years and they

would like to "Offer me the chance to get back into work, as it is my right".

What an utter load of tosh!

I am 55 years old, had R.A for previous 18 years and now 4 unexplained broken vertabrae, the latest just 17 weeks ago and still

healing which has left me with a recovering semi paralyzed right foot!

The letter I received made me think that this Government has decided that I am not worth maintaining.

I am feeling a bit more confident again today and hopefully will be able to keep my benefits, along with my sanity - the stress and worry they have

caused me is a moral outrage.

It is so shocking to me, because I know how HARD it is to be granted D.L.A in the first instance!

Good luck to all of us is what I say!

Best wishes to you, it has been some time since I last posted on here.
